Answers to the things brands ask us most. If yours isn't here, send it over at the bottom and we'll come back to you by email.
Sign in on the account page with your email address or your brand name, plus the password you chose when you created your account. You don't need an access key any more.
If you haven't made an account yet, create one on the same page. If you've forgotten your password, email us and we'll help you back in.
You apply, we make a decision, you sign the agreement, the subscription starts, you add your products through the upload page, we approve the listings, then you drop your stock off labelled and it goes on the shelf.
Nothing goes on the shop floor before the listings are approved, so the upload step is the one that keeps everything else moving.
On the Add products page, once you're signed in. It takes you product by product, gives each one its SKU, and prints you a label sheet at the end.
You sign in with your email or brand name and your password. There's nothing else to install.
A SKU is the code that tells the till which product has just sold, and therefore who gets paid for it. Ours are the first three letters of your brand followed by a number — so a brand beginning "Pat" gets PAT1, PAT2, PAT3 and so on.
You don't invent them. The upload page issues one per product as you add it, and shows you the full list at the end.
Tell us before you drop the stock off. A mismatch means the sale can't be traced back to you, so it's worth two minutes now rather than chasing a missing payout later.
Don't relabel to a code you've made up — email us the product and we'll confirm the right one.
Yes. Sign in, go back to the Add products page and add them. The numbering carries on from where you left off, so nothing clashes with stock already on the shelf.
Check your shelf has room first — see the question on how much fits.
The page shrinks photos before they're sent, so size usually isn't the problem. The two things that catch people out are a weak signal part-way through, and files that aren't actually images — a screenshot of a PDF, for instance.
Try one photo at a time on wifi. If a photo still won't go, send it to us by email and we'll add it.
Once a listing is live, email us the SKU and the change rather than re-uploading the product. Uploading it again creates a second listing and splits your stock across two records.
As a rough guide, a shelf holds around thirty small items, or eight to ten pieces of clothing, with about ten in backstock. It varies by what you make, so if your products are unusually large or small, ask us before you pack.
No — your listings need approving first, and your items need labelling with the SKUs from the upload page. Stock that arrives unlabelled can't go out, and it'll sit in the back until it's sorted.
Once you're approved, request a drop-off on the Drop-offs / Restocking page. Tick the checklist, and we approve it before you bring anything in. When it arrives, we count it with you and you both sign it off.
Bring more of the same product under the same SKU — don't create a new one. Let us know what's coming so the stock count goes up when it lands.
If the item is with us in store, we handle it. If you hold the stock yourself, we'll email you with the order and you post it out, then send us the tracking.
Post it promptly — the customer is buying from Indespoke, and a slow dispatch lands on all of us.
We report your sales to you. A self-serve sales view is being built and we'll send you the link when it's ready.
If you need a figure before then, ask and we'll pull it.
Payouts run to the schedule set out in your Vendor and Retail Development Agreement. If a payout looks wrong or hasn't arrived, email us the dates and the SKUs and we'll check it against the till.
Open My payments. You can pick one of two ways:
Pay it all now: press the button and pay on the Indespoke shop checkout with your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. That's it for the season.
Pay a bit each month: press "Set up Direct Debit" and type in your bank details on the secure Stripe page. The money then comes out by itself each month. You don't have to remember anything.
Look at the big box at the top of My payments or your Home page. Green means you're up to date. Yellow means there's something to do, like a payment due today. Red means a payment is late (more than 5 days after it was due) and tells you how much to pay.
A Direct Debit takes about 3 working days to arrive, and it shows as "On its way" until then. That never counts as late.
Stripe tries again by itself after a few days. If a button saying "Pay now" shows at the top of My payments, you can pay that one straight away instead. If you're not sure, message us and we'll help.
Your placement is the physical space your products sit in. Your membership is everything that sits around it — the community, the sessions, the support.
Membership comes in with a placement at no extra cost. If you don't renew the placement, the complimentary part ends with it, but you're welcome to carry on as a member separately and keep the benefits even while you're not in store.
Email us before the season ends and we'll sort it. Space goes to brands already with us first, so earlier is better than later.
Let us know in writing, in line with the notice in your agreement. We'll confirm a date, take your listings down, and arrange a time for you to collect your stock.
Collect it on the agreed date if you can — unclaimed stock is a problem for both of us.
This goes straight to the Indespoke inbox. Tell us your brand so we can find your record.
